Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
MAKE Technologies Inc. is seeking talented individuals to join our Quality Assurance team. Duties include: Test Case Writing from Business Requirements or Use Cases, Test Case Execution and Defect Reporting.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience testing software applications.
- Experience with System, Integration, User Acceptance Test Phases
- Familiarity with Java Testing
- Testing of Windows & Web-based Applications
- SQL Query Writing (basic)
- Good Understanding of the SDLC
- Proven success in performing testing within project timeline
- and/or resource constraints.
- Experience in Status Reporting, Client Communications
- Varied Business experience with both Private and Public Sectors
- Strong analytical skills & attention to detail
- Strong verbal/written communication skills and well organized
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Assets:
- Exposure to Use Cases
- Automated Test Case Writing
- Experience with Load, Performance and Stress Testing
- Experience with Test Director and Jira
- Comfortable communicating with External 3rd Party Developers if necessary
