<p>The successful candidate will join our cutting-edge legacy modernization methodology (TLM) team. As part of the TLM team you will be contributing to the evolution of the company’s mission critical tools that support are client facing modernization project teams. You will develop Java EE software tools for use in MAKE&#8217;s cutting edge TLM Automation as well as other interesting and challenging applications. </p>

<li>Work within a small and focused product development group</li>
<li>Collaborate Design, develop and deliver the web based interface on our flagship product with sales, product management, education, services and marketing groups</li>

<p><strong>Required Skills:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Five plus (5+) years of experience, successfully developing rich web based interfaces</li>
<li>Two plus (2+) years of experience with Java</li>
<li>Experience with JavaScript, AJAX, HTML and CSS</li>
<li>Experience with usability, user interaction design and info-graphics</li>
<li>Superior problem solving skills</li>
<li>Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to perform comfortably in a fast paced, team and deliverables-oriented work environment</li>
<li>Sensitivity to deadlines and to the impact work has on an overall project schedule</li>
<li>Comfortable seeking peer and supervisory guidance on complex application challenges</li>
<li>Strong communications skills both written and verbal</li>
</ul>

<li>Experience with Java EE, Java Server Faces or JPA/Hibernate</li>

<li>Experience with compiler or semantic technology</li>
<li>A computer science degree from a recognized university</li>
<li>Experience with a wide range of technologies including: JBoss, OC4J, MySQL, Oracle, GOF and J2EE design patterns, SOA, EJB, JSTL, JMS, Hibernate, Toplink, XML, SXLT and UML.</li>

<li>Want to simplify &#038; streamline overly-complex and inefficient processes;

<li>Understand the difference between needs &#038; wants, and know how to differentiate between the two; </li>
<li>Believe that most software fails because the KISS principle is ignored;</li>
<li>Know that communication and people skills, as well as the ability to develop trust and confidence with the client, is the key to a successful project;</li>
<li>Understand that organizational acceptance &#038; behavior determines project success and failure; and</li>
<li>Willing to travel to client sites, as needed. </li>
