Bill Bergen | President & Chief Executive Officer

Bill took the helm of MAKE in August 2006 to lead the company into new areas of revenue, geographic and industry growth. With over 30 years experience, Bill has an accomplished career in the IT Industry, including serving as President of Oracle Corporation of Canada. Prior to Oracle, Bill worked for IBM Canada as a Branch Manager in British Columbia.  Bill was born and raised in Saskatchewan, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan.

 

 

Charles R. Layton | Client Services

Charles is an IT Executive and Senior Consultant with a broad base of professional experience in building and managing consulting practices, leading projects, and advising senior management on information management strategies. During his 29 years in the IT industry, Charles has managed consulting practices for global organizations including Oracle Corporation and Ernst & Young. He has wide experience providing clients with information systems planning and analysis, program and project management and process facilitation.

 

 

Wendy van Donkelaar | Chief Financial Officer

Wendy brings over 20 years technology industry experience to MAKE after serving as Vice-President, Finance and Operations with Apparent Networks and Director, Professional Services for Crystal Decisions in Vancouver prior to its acquisition by Business Objects. While at Crystal, Wendy led the North America Professional Services Group, serving many Fortune 500 clients such as Aetna, Citibank, Bank of America and Pepsi. During this time Crystal grew from a 110-person start-up selling developer tools to the fastest growing enterprise software company in the world with more than 1,600 employees and USD$300 million in revenue.

 

 

Jean-Guy Faubert | Canadian and International Sales

Mr. Faubert brings over twenty-two years experience to MAKE. Prior to joining MAKE Technologies, he worked at Burntsand Inc. in New York, managing multi-million dollar accounts including Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, and Chase. Prior to Burntsand, he was with LGS Group (now an IBM Company) as Director of Sales as well as managing a Year 2000 practice. Mr. Faubert brings a highly successful track record of attracting and maintaining clients, a disciplined approach to systems integration and mainframe modernization, and a deep knowledge and experience in solution selling. At MAKE, he sits on several steering committees that oversee MAKE’s modernization projects including Nova Scotia’s Motor Vehicle and Registry Replacement, New Brunswick’s Medicare Replacement, and Sasktel International Triad Project.

 

 

Rich Cronheim | US Sales

Rich is a Senior Marketing, Business development and Sales professional with 20 years experience in product positioning, marketing, sales, sales program development, and partner relationship management primarily in the enterprise software market place.  Previously from IBM and  a  Co-Founder at Relativity, Rich has worked in the Enterprise Modernization space for the past 12 years where he has developed solutions for some of the top Fortune 500 companies.

 

 

Grant DeCecco | Product

Grant has almost 20 years experience in the IT industry and his career spans from Project Management and Solution Design to Product Management. Previously with Telus Communications, he was on the management team responsible for the design and development of ADSL and TELUS TV services as well as the enterprise modernization project to replace the legacy billing and provisioning systems (a portfolio of over 100 applications). He is responsible for the strategic direction and development of MAKE’s Products and Solutions and leads the Presales team supporting both MAKE and partner lead initiatives worldwide.

 

 

Mik Lernout | Technology

Mik has over 10 years of experience in the enterprise information space. He applies technology, methodology and team work to solve the most costly, and complex, problem facing enterprise IT right now: legacy modernization. At MAKE since 2005, he has built out one of the best product development teams, manages a worldwide education program and gets to roll out the most effective legacy modernization solution in the market. He has a particular focus on translating technical and process innovations into elegant and practical solutions to business problems. Before MAKE he worked in Brussels, Belgium with both Digital Age Design (now LBi Belgium) and Home Shopping Europe on enterprise content management and e-commerce projects.
